Europe (DSE) have been independent
shipping
agents &
road
haulage contractors since 1997. The
origins of DSE are in the family company
Smit Expeditions, established in Wierden,
and actively involved in International and
European haulage and transport since 1924.
Because
of economic growth and the omittance of
the borders within the E.E.C, businesses
are allowed to operate across foreign
markets all around Europe. As a result,
the demand from clients for efficient
and reliable road haulage, shipping agents
and transport services, available from
a central European location has increased
tremendously. Established in 1977, DSE
Almelo decided to meet this need for a
total shipping and road haulage service
and that this service should be tailored
specifically to each client’s needs.
This approach has helped in the creation
of excellent customer relations, helping
achieve a ‘win’ ‘win’
situation, for all concerned.
In
1997 a decision was made to separate Expeditie
Smit for regional packages and packed
goods. All other forms of shipping and
transport would be handled by DSE. This
ranges from international packages to
other types of courier service, plus container
and conditioned transportation. Excluding
live goods, DSE has a good solution for
all transportation questions.
